CHAD KNIGHT'S LATEST NEWS
7/31/08 – Chad's stay in Japan continues to go well:
"I had a blast in tokyo with the 1031 distribution guys out here. They're really rad and we got a lot done. I did a demo the first day at TrickStar, which is a super good park. The owners are super rad too. Thanks for the team shirt guys! Then we went to an am contest the next day with a best trick contest for the local pros. I skated in it but I didn't know I was eligible... I didnt think I was allowed in it, but I won it with tricks over the box to the hubba... believe that one! Me launching onto a hubba! I got 3 good tricks on film at street spots the next day and the japanese version of Atiba shot it all. So thanks a ton to Go Ueda and Mishikawa for showing me your secret spots and not killing me with fish. All of the skate pictures and video should be coming soon...
On friday they're coming up to shoot the skatecamp and hopefully we will be able to find some spots up here in Yokosuka."
7/25/08 – Chad continues on in his trip in Japan and sends his latest update:
"Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you all know that the trip is going good and I survived the 6.8 earthquake. It was insane, my tv even walked out of the entertainment center and onto the floor in my hotel room. Pretty awesome but supposedly close to 100 people were injured. Ive also seen some pretty cool wanabe Jackie Chans with bleached orange hair, muscle shirts and short gym shorts.
The kids have been super hyped at all the bases over here. Tomorrow I am going to Tokyo where I will be hanging out with the 1031 Japanese distributor. Some demos and Japaneses mag photo shoots are lined up. On the 2nd I am doing a demo with Kenny Anderson and Nesser on Yokosuka Navy Base. Then home again... then to Santa Cruz, Woodward and Minnesota..."
7/14/08 – After three long days of travel, Chad Knight has arrived in Okinawa, Japan. Chad is to serve as a visiting professional at the popular local skate camps.
5/23/08 – Chad is now on Sullen Clothing. The release from Sullen's website reads: "Chad Knight just signed with Sullen! Chad is an awesome skater and a great guy and we are so stoked to have him join the team! Chad lives in Encinitas and is one of the best street and park skaters in the world. Chad has an extremely busy schedule coming up this summer and we will keep you informed on his where abouts. If you get the chance to watch this guy in person you will be blown away! Congratulations Chad and welcome to the Family!"

3/16/08 – Chad is now working with Blendz, a skateboarder owned health oriented resturaunt. They have several locations around California. Check blendz.com for locations!
Chad has also added FKD bearings, of the Plan B family, to his sponsors.
Finishing touches are being put on the plans for 1031 Skateboard's "Turn Up The Hell" US Summer Tour. It looks like the tour will run for the entire month of June. Check back soon for summer tour dates.

1/16/08 – Chad Knight will be co-hosting the morning radio show "AJ's Playhouse" on channel 93.3 FM on January 17.
Chad and Mayhem (from American Gladiators) will be on Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit" on January 25. The show will re-air a few times the following day as well.
Also, keep an eye out for Chad Knight's upcoming interviews in "The Skateboard Mag" and "Paying In Pain".
1/5/08 – As of January 1, 2008, Chad Knight has officially signed with NSS Footwear team and will have a signature shoe available in 2008. He has also joined the Sports Unlimited Talent Agency out of LA, CA.
Chad is also currently starting a personal training business. He is interested in working with action sports athletes in an attempt to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for optimum performance and injury prevention.
